  Possibly four more children were born to Henry Lance. The first six: Martin, James Jasper, Unknown daughter, Nancy, Leah and Elizabeth were born in South Carolina. Peter, Charles, Samuel, Bennett and as many as four other children were probably born in NC. Mary and John were born in Warren Co., TN. So -- prior to 1800 the family lived in Pendleton Co., SC. Beetween 1800 and 1813 they lived in Old Buncombe Co, NC. By 1813 they were living in Warren Co., TN Apparently, Nancy Lance was a mute. Lance family database has it that Henry Lance was granted 25 acres of land in Warren Co., TN and that he bought 100 acres from Sarah Elam.
