- Moved to Denver before turn of 20th century. Apparently died there between 1919-1920. Never married. Anna Letter is listed in the 1910-1920 Denver City directories. Sometimes as Anne, sometimes Anna. The first few years the surname is Letters, after that, Letter. She lived at 1356 Delaware St. until about 1915-1916, then moved to 1417 Delaware. In 1918, 1919, and 1920, she is listed as living at 415 W. 145h st. (same general neighborhood) re 1910 Census of Denver, Denver co., Co, Precinct 4 (42?) SD 1, Ed 137, p2 A According to 1910 census she worked as a Char-woman and also at odd jobs. She was steadily employed . Apparently she lived in a boarding house. Others living there incuded, Minnie Ashem(n)benni (?)m Bud C. Qppling,, his wife Addie and their children Ella and Frances. Anna Letter is listed in the Trancripts of the Cthedral Church Sankt Johann of Essen, Rheinland, Prussia: Baptisms, 1783-1861, A-Z. FHL film 496667, item 2. William Letter is also listed, but not Christina Letter or her parents.
