Pursuant to the acts of the general assembly of Said State in Such cases made or provided, I have this day Preceded to take and hearafter State a pro rata settlement, saith Mitchell Daniel, Administrator of Thomas l. Lamay, Deceased. Lemay deceased On his Last Settlement made, on the 28th April, 1860 with thomas H. smith the then clerk of the county court, I find said Administrator charged by said clerk for Assessts as per Inventory -- $443.31 I also find that an Error was made in the calculation of said in favor of Administrator which I harge against him in this settlement to wit 443.31 Aggregate Amount of Assets in hands of Administrator 18.70 $462.01 Credited; I find Administrator as per settlement as aforesaid - 219.20 Balance in Hands of Administrator 242.81 Interest 4 years, 7 months & 13 days, To wit 67.25 Aggregate Amount of Indebtedness with Interest to this date $310.06 To Amount of Claims filed by the creditors of said Intestate as for settlement as Aforesaid Administrator. Josephus Finley Clerk. From CHANCERY COURT RECORDS OF CANNON COUNTY, TN, 1840-1880, JORINE PARTLOWE 1875-1880 -- Ana Stroud versus Mitchell Daniel, et al. This case was heard by jury. They found that WD Stroud was last with h is family in early 1867. WD Stroud and his wife executed a deed for the land in controversy to James Cook on 1 Dec., 1852. . The said Cook issued a deed to the land to Pelham and Daniel. The bill is dismissed 1 May, 1879. P. 548-549.
