- Possible date of birth (Karem Emigh, Ancestry) is 8 Oct., 1754 in New Hanover, NC. 1850 Warren Co. Census lists in 13th Civil Dist. Farmer, worth $200/ Possibly had a brother named Henry. Possibly lived in GA and SC before moving to TN between 1800-1810. Loads of info in file. Too much to record here. Johnathan Youngblood was one of the 26 names appearing on the original roll of the Dec. 13-14th, 1846 meeting held at Ivy Bluff Church. Mitchell Jones thinks that Johnathan's father may have been named John Youngblood. Descendants of Johnathan Youngblood from Ron Youngblood Bob Prater notes that Youngbloods and Praters entered Warren County when the county was opened in 1807. D. Mitchell Jones -- 10 Jun3, 1808. Begin at hickory W. bank of a branch W 100 P N 180 P, E 343 P to aforesad branch crossing the same in all 100 P S 180P. Robert McCombs DS fled Aug 20, 1808. In the minute book of church and cemetery at Ivy Bluff, the following entry is found: At a meeting begun and held at Ivy Bluff in Warren Co., TN, on the 13th and 14th of December, 1846, during which time the following named persons gave themselves to the Lord and to each other, agreeing to constitute themselves into a church of the Lord Jesus Christ, and to worship Him according to His will as contained in the scriptures, rejecting everything else as authoritative in religion: Namely James Lance, Sr., Johnathan Youngblood ... with 24 other names appearing on the original roll. (MCMINNVILLE AT A MILESTONE, b. Walter Womack, p. 209-210). Much info in file./ 1850 Warren Co TN Census entry 1080, lists Johnathan Youngblood, 84, b. NC,: Nancy, 75, b. VA: Rachel, 36, Martha, 35, Benjamin Bates, 7; Ala J. Bates, 3; and Rachel P. Bates, 1, all born TN. Warren Co. Will Book 3, p. 139 records his property was sold at auction 3 July, 1852. The Entry: list of personal property sold at the residence of Jonathan Youngblood, dec'd. Purchases by Nancy youngblood, Rachel Youngblood and others, on p. 220 an entry dates 25 April, 1854, shows settlement with John F. Lance administrator of Johnathan Youngblood. Widow, Nancy youngblood. Mitchell Jones: Sept 27, 1838 Jonathan (Youngblood)Sr. gives to Jonathan J. Youngblood all his stock of horses, cattle, hogs and sheep and all land 113A to keep Jonathan Youngblood and his wife Nancy Youngblood. signed Jonathan X Youngblood and Jonathan J youngblood.
