| Notes |
- This has been taken from a book written by William Penn MORROW, titled MY MORROW KINFOLKS Simon and Esther were very wealthy in land and slaves. They owned land on both sides of the Tygr river, possibly as much as 1500 acres. When I sold one of my houses on Morrowdale Lane, the attorney who traced the title said that she had traced the propertyback to a land grant from the King of England. I would conclude from this that a portion or all of his 1500 acres was a land grand from the King. You will note the acreage in his will is less than the 1500 acres attributed to him. So it is unclear as to the total number of acres he owned at one time. However, he may have sold some of this land before his death.
